I installed a new water pump, but it sounds like bad bearings when I turn on the AC. I replaced the pump, and the noise is the same. I noticed the AC drive belt vibrating too much at idle, so I tightened it more, but I think it is too tight. It stopped some of the noise, but not all. I tightened the alternator, too, but I don't want to add any more belt tension. I am ruling out water pump bearings. Thoughts?

The way I originally read it, the noise started after the WP install...but...what if the WP was replaced because of the noise, but the noise is still there?
More info is needed...
