I'm going back to stock with the AC on my 71, which had previously been converted to CCOT. When installing the new POA valve, I was puzzled to find a Schrader valve inside the POA valve port which connects to the evaporator oil bleed line (the small tube which exits the evaporator firewall box from the same place as the evaporator inlet tube). With nothing in the oil bleed line fitting to depress the Schrader valve, I don't see how anything will ever flow through it. (No, I'm not confusing the port with the one where the service guage attaches. It has a Schrader valve also, as it should.) I'm almost inclined to remove the valve, but wondered if someone can confirm whether it should actually be there.
