68 small block just completely rebuilt and put back in car but is idling at 205 .Clutch fan turns freely ,measured temp from overflow so i am sure it is not the guage.Any thoughts please help

thanks for info- do you think clutch fan is not working , it turns very freely hot or cold

possibly... its a cheap fix though..

if you replace and it doesnt help.. just remember that it could have gone out the day after you fixed the real problem.
