Any of you folks around the Portland/Vancouver area know of a local carb shop that can handle Q-jets? I performed a minor rebuild on mine with a kit, but I think I want an expert to take a look if possible. I'd want someone to take the top off and check things like the needle and seat and float level, etc. Also looking for advice regarding a possible need to up primary jet size or change rods. The carb is bone stock now, but the car has dual exhaust and the EGR removed. Thanks.

I just called the number and it said it had been disconnected. Dang. That is not far from where I live - would have been perfect. Know of any other carb shops in the area that might work?

Thanks - you certainly live in the correct city for Q-Jet experts. I'll keep it in mind, but first I'm going to try this guy:
(Merles Carburetor, Portland, OR) There are two good reviews up there for him and one guy even had a q-jet rebuilt. If any one has any info about him, please let me know.
I'll also drive by the AA guy in Vancouver, might as well since he's so close to me.
Thanks,
Dave
