Hi Gang, The 68 is coming back! Got the headers and
side pipes hung last night, but ran into a small
problem. Found that the previous owner had lost
2 of the 4 mounting studs for the side pipes.
These are threadall welded to a "flange" head
which slipps into the slotted fram rail holes, then
rotated to pull against the inside of the frame.
I cannot find any markings on the headers or side pipes.
They are crome and look something like headers you might
see on a bucket T, they come out just behind the ft. tires,
into a collector then into the side pipes. Any thought on
who made these? Thanks! Bruce

Vette(s): 1976 Stingray, L48 auto Buckskin/Buckskin Leather originally. Numbers matching.
Hooker is the most likely maker of your headers and pipes. The are others who made/make these systems for Vettes, but they are rare compared to the Hooker's.
