Just got my new DynoMax ceramic coated headers tonite. Almost too pretty to put on the car (LOL). Guess you can tell what my weekend job is gonna be. Also got 2 new high flow cats. It has 50 series Flowmasters on it now, with 2.5" pipes. Should make a differance, but wish there was some room to put tail pipes on it. It would give it a deeper tone.

David,

I'm looking for headers for mine as well. Tell me, why did you chose DynoMax headers over the other brands?

......and good luck with the install this weekend!

I picked up a set also.  got them from Summit, pn 86008, last week.  read that there is no ground clearance issues with them.  have been waiting for cooler weather before crawling under the car.

The reasons for the Dynoman are just like Hank's post. I have read good feedback on the Dynomax brand here on the forum, the price is reasonable, and they have a collecter/reducer to 2.5" with an oxygen sensor bung provision in them available. Plan on going to electronic fuel injection shortly. I'm told that I will need to run a heated o2 sensor, since it's so far back in the exhaust system, but they didn't have a set of ceramic headers with a bung provision in them. I talked to the Dynomax tech people and they said it was possible to put one in, but not to avoid burning off the coating at that point it's installed. We got them at Summit in Sparks, and I just couldn't resist going and gawking at the FI set ups. Still in the air (are- Dah?) if it's Holley or Edelbrock. Wife worried.

(Adam, just got kicked off while editing this post, fyi. No real problem, just got the sign in screen again, no lost text.)

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!

I put the ceramic Hooker headers on mine.  Very nice fit.  The install was actually fairly easy with the car on drive on ramps.

Holley has a header collector that has the bung installed in the collector.  You can install an O2 sensor and not touch the headers themselves.   Very good alternative.
