Well I have flowmaster 40's on mine. They fit well and sound very good.

I went with a stock system from Corvette Central. Kept the original 2" exhaust manifolds but upgraded to 2 1/2" pipes and mufflers. Everything fit together well and it has a nice mellow sound, but barks just enough for me when the secondaries open up.

Well, I have the dual exhaust from mid america on there. The flowmasters are using stock type hangars and are mounted in the stock locations parallel to the ground (still have the spare). The sound is great, they are a little smaller than my stock mufflers were. Bought them from summitracing and the best part is that they were cheap. Mind you this is on an 80. Then I had the exhaust tips brought as straight out as possible.

I just purchased a system from summit racing. Made by Hooker, 2 1/4 mandrel bent aluminized, minus mufflers. Pick your own mufflers. Can't beat the price at $130.00.

Dave:
How did you identify the parts for the exhaust system at Summit Racing? I just went to their website and did a search for "exhaust 1969 corvette" and it turned up noting.
What brand/model mufflers did you use with this system?
Thanks,
Jim

If you don't find it in the catalog, let me know and I will stop in and find out. It's only 5 1/2 miles from my front door to Summit Racing.

I'd be bankrupt if I lived that close.
