Hey everyone!
I was wondering if anyone has a diagram of a carburetor. I have a 1973 L48 which I picked up last weekend and I am looking to clean out the carb and don't would like to see a diagram so that I don't accidentally put anything where it should not go!
Thank you all for your responses.

If you get a carb kit you will get good diagrams that come with the kit. I am assuming that you have a q-jet. Pay attention the the accel pump. My biggest issue when I rebuilt mine was that the kits didnt have the right pump shaft so I had to reuse the old one. I tried just about every kit out there trying to get the right shaft.
Good Luck

Thanks for that link, Joel. I remember reading Ken's how-to guide a few years ago, but didn't have it in my favorites. Here's another good Q-jet resource:
Some of the links don't work anymore, but there is some good stuff here. I'd recommend starting with the Lars Grimsrud articles which I think are some of the first ones listed, "Quadrajet Tuning Paper" and "Quadrajet Tuning Notes".
