Off topic here, sorry...do you guys remember going to a junk yard and getting performance parts? 4 barrel carbs, posi rear ends... Now the best "junk" yards that carry that stuff sit on my pc desk and are only a couple clicks away. I used to love digging for parts, ah the memories.

I used to work in a "Wrecking Yard", as they were called back then. Now they're "Salvage" yards. WhatEVER...lol
I had access to any part I needed, for whatever car I needed parts for....and they were dang cheap, too! lol
I weren't all that excited about crawling under a car with a cutting torch while fighting off rattly snakes, and Black Widders, but I learned a LOT about a lot of different kinds of cars from there.
With that said...let's try to veer back to the actual topic....lol.

I knew a guy back in the 70s that put a Holley spreadbore on his SBC and he said it had all of the bad features of a Holley and none of the good features of the Q-jet.
