Hi Everyone Does anyone out there have a 750vac holley 4010 carb on there Vette I'm looking at buying one to replace the 600vac any advice on them would be great !!! Cheers Mick |headscratch|

If its a small block then you will be way over jetted. You will have to do some modifications. I have put a few on 350's and had some work to do to get them to run smooth. Also with that size on the small block you are better to run mech. seconds than vac. due to having to change things in that area also. Just my opinion from what I've worked on.

Vette(s): 1972 Coupe Anything, but Stock and more mods to come! SSBC Force 10 Brakes, 3.73, TH350, 355 CID, Rack and Pinion, Vette Brakes suspension front and rear.
Holley no longer makes this carb so I would steer clear of it just because parts may be hard to find should you need to fix or tune anything.

I would stear clear of this carb as well. I see alot of them at swap meets cheap. I am currently running a Holley 750 vac. 3310, (different design). This is a popular and reliable carb. These are not that expense new. Another popular carb that is similar is the Demon Carbs by Barry Grant. These carbs are not direct bolt-ons to the stock Chevy Q-jet intake. Didn't notice if you had an after market intake...
