Ok I'm about ready to tear into the project car and I want to recoat the headers, it look's like just paint on them not powder coat.
What do you fellas recommend for the top coat? VHT?
I will be able to take them into work and grit blast, also I have large ovens to cure between coats.

Eastwood has home powdercoat kits if your oven is big enough to bake them.  Otherwise, it is not that expensive to send them in for ceramic coating.  I have never used a spray coating that lasted very long.

I will look into the powder coat, was not sure how well that held up. And yes I may have an oven big enough to drive the whole car in.
