Wish I knew how to "scan" these mufflers and show you what they look like. I think they look real cool.....

Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary model. Original L82 engine, 700r4 trans, edelbrock intake, thorly headers, rack&pinion steering, mono rear and front spring, MSD 6A box
I've put them on my 78 SA. They are a little loud when you get on it, love the sound.

Might give them a try. The price seems OK.

MAM Mufflerz
I thought the twin tips were 2 loud and hung awkward for my taste. (JAO)
I have the DynoMax & the Stainless tips on mine. (same page) Soundz just fine.
I don't care for the loud stuff anymore. I'd rather listen to my baby or the radio.
However, they have been on for about 5 yrs. now and are startin to get louder on the open road and annoy me.

My 78 has real time dual exhaust....no cats and big round trash cans for mufflers w/ one hanging low...get the picture fellas.
Achem....well, back to the subject ....the car sounds great at idle (performance cam of some sort). I get that "rump-rump" at the gas station and people look....
. At driving speed they are nice and quiet but sound slightly "tinny" on down throttle.

Going to put dual cats back on with hide-away mufflers and modify exhaust tips (slightly).
Going after my "Greenie Weenie" badge"
