Where is the fuel pump relay located? Have checked all fuses and connections. Vette still won't start. Tested feul pump by appling 12 volts to it and it sounded like it was working. Did find the antenna relay. But not the fuel pump relay.

Fuel pump relay is in the battery box. The fuse for the relay is in the battery box as well, its an inline fuse, I think is a 20 amp. If all else fails in finding your problem, check under the shifter console, the anti-theft relay is located just forward of the shifter with the connector facing the drivers side. Make sure that connector is tight, it will stop the starter circutits from engaging as well. Long shot but worth a try. Have you used a meter to see if you are getting power to the fuel pump connections when the key is turned. Probably take two people for that one, ont to turn the key and another to watch the meter. Is it in the side with the battery or in the side next to the battery. Yesterday i took out a relay that I thought was the fuel pump relay only to find out it was the antenna relay.

Dan, the good news is that it is right behind the drivers seat. The BAD NEWS is that the sadist that designed these cars decided to put it BEHIND the mounting plate for the ECM. This pic shows the location. There is nothing like working with your head in the battery compartment and using a mirror to see bolts you cant see otherwise and can barely reach. You have probably already done this but removing the entire drivers seat makes this alot easier. A towel over the door threshold keeps from scratching anything.

After rechecking he battery box area again I did find the fuel relay. Just as a precaution I will replace the relay.
Also removed the hyperchip out of ecm. put old chip back in. still didn't start but will get new relay and re check.
How do you get pics in your posts. and on your profile.
Love working on my vette.but would love to know I am going in the right direction.
P.S. Can't Wait to start crusing ........

lol

This is what you should find in that area: ECM, Electronic Spark Control, Fuel pump relay, E-Cell timer (long thin tan object) and the inline fuse for the relay. (Photo courtesy of Joel Adams)
