I just got my new system on my 68 427 on Saturday. Dynomax Super Turbo. The sound is solid, throaty, but not too loud. Mine is a convertible. Dynomax is known (supposedly) for having less resonance; this is the first time i've used them.

A big advantage to going to a shop that sells basically what you're looking for, is they will fit different types on your car right there so you can compare the sound. Can't get that from "mail order". It'll give you a reasonable idea of what they sound like from outside the car. aceinthehole 2007-07-28 20:20:20

The "classic chambered" on my 75 have a
very throaty sound from idle to 4000 rpm. After 4000rpm they begin to
payoff like the vintage glass packs. Mine are true duals, no crossovers
or tie ins.

Hey Nate ! I have the 2 1/2" single exit and I would bet that Big John has the same. They do sound sweet.
