Vette(s): '78 Silver Anniversary T Top coupe,58k orig miles.
THM350 auto, 350 L48, JBM headers,Oyster White interior,.as of Nov '15 in process of painting.
I have ready access to the 'EO' ethanol free 93 octane gasoline here where I live..It's about 60 cents more per gallon than 93 octane unleaded which has varying percentages of ethanol..up to 22%..
My 78 has a 22 gallon tank but I don't need to fill it every week so fuel cost isn't a big issue.
Just had my original Rochester QuadraJet carb completely rebuilt and adjusted properly( not easy to find those who still DO this properly and well.)
Car runs very well..and I'd like to keep it that way.
I've used the ethanol free gasoline (they call it EO here) in it since I bought it 3 months back..
From what I have learned, the ethanol(alcohol) has bad effects on the fuel delivery components of the older carburated cars and motorcycles. Not so much on the newer fuel injected ones.
What are your thots on using the EO fuel for your C3 carburated cars?..
I have a different question for another thread concerning addition of 100% pure acetone as a tiny % additive for gas powered cars..for fuel burning efficiency and better mileage..Jim

Pretty sure we'd all use ethanol free gas if we could. Nothing convenient around here.
