It doesn't hurt to have an extra row, as long as it doesn't create clearance issues for installation or the fan. It's actually more efficient to get a radiator with a core that has an increased number of fins per inch. If your current core has twelve fins per inch, find a core that has eighteen fins per inch. You greatly increase your swept area for air cooling and it greatly increases efficiency for heat transfer.
Radiator shops order cores by size and whether they're vertical- or horizontal-flow. Ask for an appropriate core that has increased fins per inch.

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
The tanks are the same size on two or three rows. No clearance problems. Go with a aluminum one. DIRECT FIT, they do.
