Vette(s): 1968 convertible

Hi guys.  I removed my pulley’s and installed a March Performance serpentine system.  Love the serpentine but I had to use spacers to get my fan out away from my power steering pump.  I am interested in removing the fan all together and was wondering if you guys could recommend an electric fan that would work in my car? (1968)

I measured the radiator and of course currently can’t recall – I think it is 32 inches.  But there is some supports that come within 2 inches of the radiators at each side.  So that fan would probably need to be a few inches shorter to fit.  I will measure it all accurately this evening.  Any advice?

I called Summit and spoke with them and went with this fan : http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BCI-75007/

The thermo control was another $68 and the brackets were another $100 .... ugh !

This fan is 23.5" wide, my radiator is 32" end to end and the core is 27".   but I had to drop 2" off because of the supports in the car.  I think that 23.5 inches should be more than sufficient coverage to cool the water.

Once I finish installing it I can / will post a picture.
