you dont use a shroud with electric fans

the dewitts kit uses spal fans..  they are considered the cadillac of fans

flex-a-lite makes a good kit as well

but it costs nearly as much

I tried the cheap electric fan route....Dont go there man. Nothing but a waste of time and money. I played around with the autozone fans and even tried making a custom shroud. nothing worked as good as the stock set up. I thought $400 for the dewitts kit was too much and that I could do the same with cheap autozone fans.... Ended up wasting $250 and a whole week of evenings only to throw in the towel and go back to stock. I never tried the dewitts system but I might If they can give me money back guarantee that it will at least cool as well as stock. Oh well at least I can tell you what I learned. Thanks a lot guys. I think I'm just going to ahve to bite the bullet and spend the $400 for the spal unit. I only asked because Dewitts ahs a few fans on there where a stock fan shroud is a must. I just stated that I have one just incase there was another kit that I needed it. I know flex-a-lie == cheap-flex-a-crap. Damn, Dewitts is going to pwn my bank account, l00l.
