My 79 L82 4speed that I purchased in 1984 has some items that I have always wondered about. The front spoiler {air dam} has a rubber extension on it.This appears to be a professional looking addition that I have only NOTICED on one other 79. I also have an electric fan in addition to the motor driven one and a trap door flap on the bottom of the fan shroud. The car is a very late 79{built in the last 3 weeks of 79 production} I have noticed that the door strike bolts are dated 1980. Is the electric fan and associated modifications a 1980 thing or a L82 4speed thing? Neither 78 L82 auto that I own are setup like this. Answers?? Thanks.
