The intake for the B&M supercharger has an opening at the rear for something. I believe it is for an EGR valve. Can I simply block this off? Can I purchase a plate somewhere or do i have to fabricate one?

You might want to try your local performance shop. We have a place called Ramchargers around here that carries stuff like that. I picked one up to cover the EGR hole on my stock manifold. The website is www.ramchargers.com

Edelbrock and I believe Holley each sell a blockoff plate. Check any well equipped speed shop...Summit Racing and Jegs each carry them as well.

Just remember to use a good gasket and/or high temp gasket sealer. Antiseize works very well. It get hot at the plate. A standard EGR gasket will work.
