Just rebult my Q jet, and bought a 2101. Anyone using one of these with a quad. If so what kind of results did you get with this combo, and did you have any hood clearance problems. If this all works well the next step is a set of hooker headers with sidepipes.

Put the 2101 on my 73 L48. Works very well I notice a big difference in my off idle performance.

Ron, I been messing with the timing on my Vette to get more performance when I found that my accelerator pump lever was being pushed down 1/8 inch by the air cleaner base when I tighten the wing nut. I could never get the idle just right. The P.O. put a low rise Edelbrock 14 inch air filter set up on it. Have you or anyone else run into this problem.

I had one on the '78 L82 I owned along with the Q-jet. It ran great.

I'm glad this was posted because I have been looking to put on an aluminium intake this winter for the blackray. Originally I was gonna step back in time and put an Edelbrock Streetmaster on. But with your talk about the 2101 intake made me curious how this intake preforms. Can ya'll elaborate on this intake so I can develop some kinda opinion? I am running a Q-jet, headers & mild to mid cam...

What is a good used price for one? There are 14 of them on Ebay with prices starting at $20.00 and ending at $175.00.

Tux, Forget the $175. You can buy a new one for $118.95.

Thanks Jim.... I kinda figured that $75.00 or less would be a good deal for one.
