I would like to change my single exhaust system to a true dual exhaust system with dual cats. Has anyone see a system like this on the market. MADVET has an off road system but I would have to get two free flow cats with heat shields and clamp them in place just after the manifold pipes come through the frame. Then weld the rear pipes on to stop leaks.

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!

I have two cats and a dog.

But my car has none.  If you need the cats due to local emissions, okay.  Otherwise get rid of them.  There are several suppliers that have good systems.  Check with several Corvette vendors.  Be sure to contact Allen's Stainless Exhaust.  I got my system (no cats) from them.  Should have it on in a couple of weeks.

Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.

I'm not sure why you're looking to put cats on a dual system either.  I put duals on mine without the cats (which is what everyone is calling "offroad use"), but then I live in Michigan which doesn't have all the stringent exhaust testing some of the other states have.

If you don't have to put the cats on...DON'T!

I have dual cats on mine. Illinois (run by the Dems) has one of the stupidest emissions test systems on the planet. It only applies to the Chicagoland and St Louis Metro areas. But that's another issue.

My vehicle passed the test with only the dual cats no other smog junk is on the car. I know my cats and mufflers are all flow through but the company name escapes me...I'll look them up on my receipt.

If you have to have cats on your exhaust, both Summit Racing and Jegs have low restriction cats that can worked into the system.
