My replacement carb is being restored now. I was wondering if someone knew the casting numbers for the Main Bowl, Base Plate and Air Horn/Top for a Quadrajet 7029215? I realize that these casting numbers (numbers in a circle embossed, not stamped) are not unique to the 7029215 but they are a good cross-check that what is represented to be a 7029215 is in fact a 7029215. Comments appreciated. I had originally posted this in my WTB topic but later realized the error in my ways...

Just wondering if you got your carb back from Monzon and what you thought of it?  Was it a straight bolt-on and were there any adjustments you had to make?

I received the carb a couple of weeks ago but have not installed it yet. I am picking the car up with a trailer two weeks from now in Calgary (waiting for the snow to go away). The reproduction carb looks like an excellent restoration. Will see if it works after I tear-down, reseal/reassemble the engine, which hasn't been run since 1984.

Thanks for your reply Steve.  I bid on and won the same on EBay. (Okay - gotta be honest;  held off on the bid until the last 60 seconds and was the only bidder.  LOL)  Come to find out when I went to pay for it, it was Monzon.  USPS is showing a Monday delivery.  Guess I'll probably be installing mine before you.  I'll let you know how it goes.
