E-Bay has quite a few aluminum radiators for a C3 that range in price from around $150.00 to 250.00.   These prices got my attention.
Does anyone have any experience with these lower priced aluminum radiators?
From what I've heard here and elsewhere, the best aluminum radiators for a C3 come from DeWitts for around $500.00.
Any opinions?

Hey Kevin, I paid $120 for mine and it works just fine. You don't have to spend a ton of money.
Are you having problems with your stock one?

No problems with the current stock radiator.

(I'm possibly going to be getting a rebuilt motor real cheap from a friend. I'm thinking in terms of "while I'm at it" with the radiator.)
I'm encouraged to hear your good review of your radiator and how little it cost.
I just might be able to pull this off!

I bought mine from a dealer that I saw was still on there. Excellent quality and price Thumbs Up - I think mine came out to about $300 with shipping. It actually looks sturdier than the Dewitts...

Hey, I hope we can keep this thread going. A lot of us would like an aluminum rad. but I can't afford the 5 bills. I never thought to look on ebay. Guess I'd heard somewhere that Chinese alum. rads were the bunk. I'd love to find out that's not true.

I'd hate to have to do it again if I got stuck with junk.
E-Bay shows a C3 "three row" aluminum radiator from "Leadfoot Racing" for $200.00 + shipping.
Dave and Paul,
What vendors did you get yours from? Figure I'll stick with a winner.

I don't remember the brand name of mine, got it from a friend who is an auto parts distrubitor.
You should PM "My7T1" (Terry) he owns a radiator shop in Mich. I know he will help you out. He helped me a lot with my AC.

The name of the Ebay business I bought from was Entropy. These are hand made to order in the U.S.

Haven't bought the radiator yet. Soon enough.

Today I pulled the Vette out of the garage and let it run. I had the hood up and was looking at the radiator and what surrounds it.

Question is.....Does the hood have to be removed in order to change out the radiator?
