When you installed an aluminum radiator (mine is a Champion CC718 3 row) did you eliminate the transmission cooler in front of it and use the internal radiator one or leave the external cooler?  My 79 L82 is still overheating so I'm trying to determine if eliminating the trans cooler in front will help airflow. I'm switching to duel electric fans vs this current set up shown in pic.

Thanks

Sorry just realized that is not the transmission cooler in front of the radiator but the air conditioner cooler. Can't eliminate that !!
