All,
I have been searching for a nice chrome or billet air breather for my 76 but I am having a problem finding one that fits. I am curious if anyone had replaced theirs? The problems are the air induction and vacum hose comiing from the carb to the breather underneath. Any suggestions?

Just plug the vacuum line at the carb and install any breather that will fit.

I agree plug it.
But just an FYI, Most of the 14" drop base aftermarket air cleaners that I have played with have a vacuum port on the bottom of them, but you have to install them. You just pop a panel out of the base and install the plastic vacuum hookup with a couple of sheet metal screws.
I plan on poping these out to run my nitrous and fuel lines into the top shot kit.
