Vette(s): 1970 T-Top350/350hp numbers matching 4 speed. It's a mess and 1970 Convertible 4 speed.
I have an 81 and the AC does not work. Is it hard to convert from R12 to R134?  Is there a book that will give me step by step insrtuction. The AC guy said it will run me about 700.00 to convert. That seems high to me. Is that about right?

lets see, a can of flush, flush and drain system maybe 1hr. shop time, compressor oil, 134 refrig, accumalator, charging kit, maybe a couple of scrader valves, + or - $200, you make the call.
