Thanks mbarney, I checked out ZIP, cost is $139.00. I have not had my mechanic check out my car as yet. Its rained daily here for the past 4 Days (God knows we need it, my lake is down over 5 ft.) I hate to take my Vette out in the rain. I'll let you know.
Good luke Blue, I bought my first new unit on E-bay, It had a vacuum leak. Gene

Gene, who was the supplier of that unit?? I've been following this thread and I just bought a unit on ebay and I am now a little concerned.  Confused

Thanks!

Maybe mbarney but I won't know until my mechanic has a chance to look at it. I have problems from bad vacuum to broken internal parts.(honestly this is the seventh a/c panel in 15 months) I have jimmed this thing and now it  works on high a/c and the fan has to be played with to get the high fan to work so I don't believe its the vacuum. I think I have a broken part on the slide. Thanks to all you guys, I will keep you updated and I'm glad you don't have this problem, this thing has been a real thorn in my butt.
