I got a new lower radiator hose for my 76E at Autozone. The block end fits (1 3/4") but the radiator end doesn't (1 5/8")fit onto the radiator. It's a pita-very tight- but I'm sure the hose is too small. The question is... Am I right? Should the hose be 1 3/4 at both ends? If not, any suggestions on getting it to fit? Where can I get the right hose? John

I use only Gates hoses. You can get them at NAPA, CarQuest, and O'Rilleys at least.

Make sure you get the lower hose with the spring inside to prevent the hose from collapsing...
