Very nice !! Custom top and bottom covers probably designed on CAD, then produced in either some sort of nylon or ABS material on a 3D printer. Hopefully they were symmetrical so you only have two parts. Looks great, nice job !! Back before I retired I was known to produce a few "personal" parts myself. Shhhhh, don't tell anybody, that would have been improper use of company resources, LOL !!

The problem is the '82 has the air flow coming from above (thru the hood). The original has an open top. I'm sure that it is not a big issue, just saying.Nice job on the design. I'm a Mechanical Design Engineer and I use SolidWorks and create 3D parts on a printer all the time but my printer is limited to 8 x 8
x 12 high. The new materials available now are great, earlier stuff would break if you looked at to hard.

Hey Vman; Yes designed in CAD. They are Ultem 9085. No misappropriation here, they were expensive.
