Does anyone know where I can get rubber premium in the tank submersible fuel hose? I think it is 3/8". It has been one year since I replaced the 2 inch rubber fuel line from the electric fuel pump to the fuel line, and I think it has deteriorated again. The car won't start. If I spray starting fluid in the TBI, it fires. I don't want this to happen a third time and get stranded. Luckly it was in the garage. Both times I used the 2 " rubber line that came with the pump from Auto Zone.

Thanks for any help.

I would think that would be available at any local auto parts place. Unless there is something REALLY special about it.

Thanks. The auto parts stores sell SAE 30R07 (regular fuel line), or SAE 30RO9 for fuel injection. AC Delco says to use SAE 30R10 submersible fuel line for in the tank applications. No one has it, even the Chevrolet dealer. I can't find it anywhere. Gates makes it in (5/16" which maybe I could stretch on) but no one has it. The regular line I have used disvolves in 12 months. Has anyone with a 1982 had this problem?

I had heard that NAPA carried it but I couldn't find it on their website. They did have listings for marine fuel line. I wonder if that would work.

After many phone call's to different auto parts stores and driving around all over town, I got a NAPA salesperson who found it. He ordered it from the warehouse. Gates 3/8" submersible fuel line. NAPA part number H213. It comes in a 12 inch section in a plastic bag, $22.00! I am going to put it in this week. I hope the third time is a charm. Thanks for your help

When I replaced my fuel pump I used the hose that came with it and it's been fine. Maybe that's why everyone said to use the AC Delco pump kit.
I hope the new hose fixes your problem.

I learned my lesson the hard way. I wish I bought the AC Delco one. Add one more item to the products banned from China. FUEL HOSE!

Thanks for the feedback.
I wonder if the Delco kit is made in China.
