Hello. Can the egr tvs and efe tvs be removed from the thermostat housing if the egr valve and smog pump have been deleted? Will it cause any potential issues?

Mine are deleted and I’m looking to clean up the engine bay and simplify things a bit. My corvette is a 1981. Thanks in advance.

What will I need to plug/cap? Is there any other stuff I should be concerned about?

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.

It may be possible to replace the housing with one that does not have the ports on it. Should be a readily available many venues.

I have plugs for the ports in case I or anybody else wants to reinstall the systems but I’m keeping them off for now.
