What size Holley Carburetor is a perfect fit for a 1977 all stock and original L48 engine.

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.

If I'm incorrect, someone will give the specific needs,  but most of the Rochester carbs were between 600 and 650.

How about a Holley Street Avenger 670.  That's what I put on my LT-1.

600cfm would be plenty, but....why Holley?

Only reason is because thats what it  has on it and i;m not sure if its too big or too small. Has to be over 23 years old and I think its time for a New one. But it doesn't exactly has to be Holley.

What's on it now?  Quadrajet?  I'd look for a direct replacement for that.  Or send yours off and get it rebuilt.

Lars, over on Corvette Forum is an expert at that. His email is V8FastCars at msn dot com.

Don't buy a commercially "rebuilt" carb.  His opinion of them...."The commercially rebuilt carbs are complete junk, and are best used to practice your hook shots into the garbage can in your garage. Neither Cliff nor I will touch those things. E-mail me for a copy of my paper "Commercially Rebuilt Q-Jet Problems" if you'd like to see a 3-page list of just a few of the things that will be wrong with that carb. Fix your original carb properly (soaking it in a "dip can" is not going to clean out the idle passages) and scrap that "remanufactured" thing."
