1968 fan shroud questions etc

Hi Listers!

I am putting together a 68 327/350 that was in a front end wreck. I need to know if the front edge of the lower baffle plate goes along the bottom ot the radiator support or does it just hang straight down? --- If there is anyone with a 68 that could snap a few pics of the metal fan shroud and the baffle plate and send to me that would be a great help

Also need to know:

gates # for the upper radiator hose

is a 17 1/2 " fan OK for the 68 (not too much room around blades w/metal shroud)

did 68 use a spacer between the fan and water pump?

not sure of where you are talking about. I will try and snap a couple of pics of a 68 i have in my shop that my help you .
