This is posted on the motor discussion group as well. Can someone provide me with the differences between the AIR systems for 1968 big block and small block motors. Are they interchangable?

Vette(s): 70 LT1 coupe, 69 350 HP coupe, 69 390HP 427 coupe, 71 LS5 convert, 85 coupe, 93 coupe
I could only find one part number for 68 to 71, and that one also fits '80 with L82.  That doesn't prove there was only one originally, as they sometimes designate one as the replacement for several.

Thanks Larry. It seems odd to me that there would be multiple pumps based on SB or BB applications but one never knows.
