hey guys, would a edlebrock 1406 fit on my stock 71 sbc vette intake, i took some mearsurements with a verier caliper an it looks like it would fit if i use the inner holes on the 1406. Would i have to use an adapter plate? Thanks.

I'm assuming your stock intake is for a Quadrajet.  If so, you'll likely need an adapter for a square-bore carb to a spread-bore intake.

Yeah, i supose an adapter makes sense, the primaries on a quad are smaller then the primaries on the edlebrock now that i think about it. Thanks gunslinger. (and yes the intake was for a quad)
