Well gee...I wasn't off by much! What's $200,000?

(as long as Terry doesn't get it)

speaking of Barret -Jackson  i have not seen much of it. However the last Sting- Ray (67) is was supposed to be autioned off. I saw the show on the resto and was curious to what it brought. I was guessing upward of 200k. Anyone know.

Bob,

The last "Stingray" was sold @ B.J. last year for around $300k.

The shows on American Muscle car are re-runs, I'm sure they'll be shown before every future B.J. auction.

Nah..........They made a bigger deal of the car than it was worth.

It didn't bring the big $$$ that they had hoped for (not to sneeze @ $300k), and in my opinion, they helped turn people "off" a little to Vettes.

I was hoping to see more C-3's @ the auction this year, but I was impressed by '68 L-89 that went for $137,500 & the ZR2.

'Stangs & Shelby's seem to bring the big $$ this year @ B.J.

Take care,

Anthony

I saw the ZR2 while I was there, it was very pretty, but there was NO PROOF at all that it was real. They had pictures of the car before it was to be worked on, but the paint was already stripped. The NCRS docs said it was true to the way it coame off the assembly plant floor, but ZR2 is never mentioned by the NCRS. The car was VERY pretty, and nicely done, but I have doubts if it was real. A real L-88 it is though.

I have a bunch of pics from my day at BJ.......How can I post them all here for all to see?
