I would like another C3 but this one would have to be a 4 speed convertible. My wife wants me to find her a blue 69 convertible but she would have to have auto trans. That just would not be right.

A '67 big block hiding under the stinger hood would be a dream, but I would not be true to my first love - a Route 66 '62 (click to see).

I have always wanted a C2, but with prices like they are, that seems like a pipe dream. A chromie or a 2003 50th anniversary would be nice, too!

One day, i will get either a 82 collector, or a 78 pace. Should be in about 3 or 4 more years, but I will get one. (Mama is gettin softer about it

Interesting topic.... I cast my vote for a C2 because like Norsky I have a thing for a marina blue white stinger white interior BB 67. But my real choice would be a Vette Rod. A little old school with modern day creature comfots and technology.
Or.... a resto rod...

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
I would like to have a 2nd gen C-3. One with a tear drop rear window. It would be for MAMA of course, so she could carry more stuff to the gatherings. I prefer a BLUE color of some sort. She has to have a AUTOmatic. We are planning on TWO at the 2011 get together. She needs the road time. TaTa. M-n-S

Well, just like Tux, I love that 50th anniversary vette rod, but I have to stick with something that I can diagnose and work on myself. Wouldn't mind havin a '73 small block but, I do love those C3 fastbacks

I think he's talking about the 78 up cars with the fastback windows.

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

I keep deluding (sp?) myself with the idea that my wife will let me get a second Corvette someday. Right now, my thought is to get a C6 Convertible when the C7 comes out. I figure the prices for C6's should drop at that time. Even now, I have found a C6 or two like I want for less than what I paid for the truck I'm currently driving. But convincing her that a C6 will be a good daily driver is going to be the hard part.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to have another C3 or even a C1 or 2, but any additional Corvette I get will have to be a daily driver (at least in the foreseeable future - outside of winning the lottery), so I need one with low miles, and preferably, a warrantee. manget1 2010-02-25 03:59:39
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
