Well, as the first official poster, I'll start the first official thread too.
What does everyone have planned for winter projects this year?
I have to do all of my weather stripping, take apart my doors and re-adjust the handles since the drivers door doens't open from the outside, adjust carb jets since it runs a little rich, general cleaning, and probably a few other things.
Good luck with all of your projects,

I have a busy Winter. I also may be re-locating with a new job, so my list might be reduced. Oh well, at least I'll have something for next Winter!!
* Fix Wiper problems.
* Gut both doors and clean, grease, and repair/replace worn parts.
* Minor rear suspension upgrades (bushings & maybe new leaf spring)
Can't wait to start!!

Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
Actually, I'm planning to start ripping out my '79 350 next weekend. I'm not sure if I'm going to just rebuild or replace. I'll probably figure it out when I get in there. I also plan to document the process (with photos) on the C3 Vette Registry website for all to see!

I'm pretty sure that Santa is getting me a NOS fogger system, HO,HO,HO, then a set of Vortec heads with some rollers, and a cam, I was going to also go to a RPM Air Gap, but then I will also have to replace the hood, so maybe when the intake comes off to install the fogger nozzles I'll have it sent out and polished. That should take care of this winter.

I've started the weatherstripping, but have to do a fix job on the T-tops. Next will be the doors, and will have to remove the interior panels so I can adjust the glass. Last will be pulling the distributor and installing a Pertronix II Ignitor.
Haven't driven it for 2 months. Man, I'd like to get it out this Saturday!!!

My winter project started out as a door hinge replacement and turned into:

Currently rebuilding the engine. specs are:
355 - splayed caps (converted from 2 bolt) - SCAT crank - TRW flat top forged pistons - ported stock heads (will be swapped for AFR194/74cc) - 1,6 RR HS - 3" True duals w/ Borla SS mufflers - Rotomaster Twin Turbo's w/ custom pop-off valve - Moon Crossram w/ 4 Dellorto DHLA45 Tri-Jet Carbs - Milodon Alu gear drive w/ seperate Cam cover - 296/296/.500 Cam - Mallory unilyte w/ Accel SuperCoil,.. and lots more
As for the car, the frame is being completely welded through, sandblasted, powdercoated and wax coated on the inside. I'm currently working on adapting a C4 IRS on the rear & maybe a C4 susp on the front too (a little more difficult than the rear)
All excess weight is being removed, trans is swapped from TH700R4 to ZF-6 (out of 92 vette, 93 up is weaker)
Rad is being swapped for a C&R or Fluidyne nascar rad (not sure wich one to buy yet), have seperate Fluidyne oil cooler & B&M trans cooler w/ pump.
Enough to do and I'll doubt I'll have it pieced together before summer next year..oh well!
You can see my stuff at http://www.crossfire.webhop.net/twinnie (I haven't added the latest pics of the turbo's & engine yet)
