I am a new member and found this site while looking for window sticker reproductions....glad to be here.
 
I have a 1980 that I bought in Jan of 1990 and will NEVER sell. With that said I am looking for window sticker reproductions. I found triple A and they need documentation to get a REAL sticker or I can submit what options I have and they will construct one. My main concern is I do not know what dealer it was sent to, what tires came stock or radio. I know I do not have the CB because I have a OEM power ant. Car came with 255/60's but not sure if it had 225/70's stock. Car has Gymkanna suspension and HD shocks along with alum wheels if that helps to decide. How about radio? How hard is it to get the tank sticker down and where exactly is it? Any other way to find out by VIN#, etc. I appreciate any help and hope to be at the 11/18 show in Brandon, FL.

Dealer invoice copies are available from a GM source for 77 and newer Corvettes. It has ALL the info you are looking for. Costs $50!!! but if you really want the info it's worth it! I'll get back here later with the contact info.  Mike

Contact vehicleinvoice@gmmediaarchive.com Give them your VIN and they will let you know if they have your invoice. With this invoice you can get an "exact" window sticker reproduction. By exact I mean info, the printing font is slightly off.  Mike

ten15...I already have that one but wanted one more authentic. Can't get too real if I don't have any info though. I hope the above thing works, $50 aint to bad considering they get about $30 for a repro.

Biggie, just to let you know that the invoice is not a window sticker. But with it you can get your desired accurate repro from Triple A.

You can take a repro window sticker & pour tea over it to give it that authentic "aged" look.

I sent them my info...lets see if they can even get me an invoice. I might just keep that. I really don't need a window sticker, I just want to know what options etc my car came with, where it was from, etc. Basically a build sheet would be great but I do not feel like dropping my tank to get it. I should have had the shop do that when I had my rear rebuilt in 1996. Thanks for all the help, will keep you posted.
