And I'll be at the George Barris Culver City show on May 13th (Wild Bunch
Banner flying freely there too), but the May 7th Car Cover show is one of
the BEST of the year, I hope to meet ALL the reclusive So. Cal Members
there.... Also, ANY feeback on the site is welcome (what would you like to
see, what does/doesn't work for you, etc.). I just got it up and running
and am hoping the group here can help find the bugs/weaknesses, etc.
Thanks,
K

Nice web site!  Like the club logo, that's pretty neat.  It would be nice if a person could click on the member pictures and they would enlarge.    I may join just so I can have a t-shirt with the logo.     Also because you need a 72 Monte Carlo in the club to go with Jenny's 71!!  There are a lot of Corvettes around, but you don't see too many first generation Monte Carlos out there.  That's what I like most about them.

PS:  Would love to see more of Jenny's 71 Monte Carlo.  Looks like she's customized hers like I did mine.  We removed all the lower chrome on mine too, but we welded in body parts off of another make of car for the use of side marker lights.

Thanks! It would be good to have the pictures clickable to larger sizes,
will do that. Jenny also has a '72 white Monte Carlo, I don't know what has
been done to either as we have not done any shows together yet but
hopefully soon. I love those cars, always the cool bada*s car of the
neighborhood back then! We are starting a good collection of '72 cars in
the club - Maybe we should be the '72 club

Great web site Reid To bad I don't still live in Sunny So. Cal or I would join up. My dad use to own a radiator repair shop in Inglewood many years ago. Its too bad so many people get into who can spend the most money on their car and have now clue about what makes them work. Then look down on those of us on a shoe string budget. I am sure your club will grow because most people prefer a low key approach where they don't have the pressure to compete.

We are forming a group here as well. The club that is in this town is of little interest to most of us gear heads here. I say a group because most of the guys don't want the formality or organizational stuff that goes along with a club. We meet every Saturday morning at a restaurant for coffee and or breakfast to talk about cars. We had about 20 guys show up last Saturday and went on a 200 mi cruise last Sunday. Everything is represented in this group, customs, classics, vintage, sports cars, muscle cars, even some new stuff. They even accept my 66 MGB! Some are in primer and a few have won numerous trophies even thou they are not trailer queens. Life is great! Now if I can get rid of this flu

Wild site Reid !!!
Your car is Mille Miglia red ??? YEP, Mille Miglia is a world famous rally drivin in Italy between 1927 and 57. Starts at Brescia to Rome and back.
Goes trough places like Poggibonsi ( near Volterra ) , very nice mountain passes ! ( was there on holiday last year with the Harleys) .Now they are running it as a memorial with cars limited to those years when the rally was happening. Next month there's the 2006 edition.Ever dream't  of competing that rally to found out that '57 was the youngest possible car ! My '70 vette should be camouflaged... into a C1 '53

succes with your bunch !

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and kind words. As I said before....the site was designed and built by Kalynn (Lowbrowser), who really deserves the credit there.

As far as what Suncountry said about low budget, the bust yer own knuckles approach is what this is all about. I know people who buy and sell and move up the ladder who have never turned a wrench on the car. They probably do have some of the finer cars, but as for me, I have always done everything I can myself or with the help of friends. To me, that is what the car hobby and hot roddin' is all about. I started when I was 14 with a '62 Galaxie and haven't let up yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
