Hi Michael,

I guess the first hard question I'd ask myself would be: how secure is my job? And will I have the luxuary of the company car for as long as I work for the firm? I don't mean to scare you at all, but with all the downsizing and cost cutting that is going on in companies these days those would be my primary concerns.

Personally I'd hang on to the truck. You never know when you might need to get the Vette somewhere (or back from somewhere! |biggrin|) and having a vehicle in the stable capable of hauling can save you some expensive towing charges. And besides, do you really want to be carrying plywood and 2x4s on the roof of the Vette? |no-no|

That's my 2¢ worth.

I can't tell you what to do but I couldn't imagine life without a truck. I have a company car, a 1988 GMC Suburban 4x4 for the wife to drive in the winter, and a 1999 Silverado 4x4 Pickup for hauling things I need not to mention trailering the Vette if I want. Having a backup vehicle is a good thing.
