Since I am fairly new to corvettes, what C3 books would you recommend I get for my reference library?
I have the original owners manual and the original GM shop manual.

I would add any of the generic tune up manuals (Chilton's, Haynes, etc). These are generic, but can be helpful in a pinch.
Add the assembly instruction manual (AIM) for your year. All the Corvette aftermarket providers carry the AIMs. The best deals include a three-ring binders to put it in.
What type of reference library do you want? Corvette mechanical/technical? Corvette history? Year specific?

Thanks Mike, I would like Mechanical, technical, C3 history and 74 info.
I already have numerous general info Chiltons, Haynes and etc books, but nothing for the C3.

Ebay has several manuals. An Assembly Manual which shows where most everything goes on a C-3. These are a reprint of the same sheets used on the assembly line. Very useful for part number and placement .Also it has stuff like torque specs and mid year changes ect.
A shop manual which is extreamly useful when working on your Vette.
A headlight door troubleshooting manual.
And a documentation manual to keep track of everything you do.
There are more. I have all of these and they are a treasure trove of information.
Just type in 74 corvette manual in the search.

Mike listed out some good stuff. I would add a couple of CD ROM's ... 1 from Joel (ADAMS'APPLE) on the electrical diagram which my bro offers up for free to ya and.. I would catch one of those EBAY disks that cover the C3.
I also like the Corvette Troubleshooting which you can get from MAM. I looked for the edition I have but think it has been renamed as a C3 Restoration Guide now.

If you find any reference works by Noland Adams, M. F. Dobbins, or Rick Bizzoco, bid on them. Noland Adams has great stuff on the C1 and C2 Corvettes; Dr. Dobbins has three excellent reference books (C2, 68-72, and 73-77) and Rick Bizzoco's '69 guidebook is good. Birthplace of Legends by Peter LiCastro is good and tells how they were made at St. Louis.
