Hey Guy's. Where can if find the vin# on my eng. block to check for matching Numbers. Also where else will it be stamped. Thanks,Terry

Front of the block on passenger's side there is a stamp pad. Depending on the condition under the hood you might have  to scrape some dirt and grime off the pad to read it. It was not painted at the factory, they put a smudge of grease on it when the engine was painted. Most people don't do that when they repaint the block.

Look Here for the location of the block stamp numbers. You should find a portion of your VIN # here, as well as the engine code, date of engine assembly, and what engine plant assembled it...
