Hi, I am new to this forum so still figuring stuff out.
anyway how do you look up the build info from the VIN number
trying to find info on a 69 427tripower ending in 707662.

What kind of info are you specifically looking for? The VIN on a '69 really doesn't give ya much to go on, other than it has a V8 engine, and what year it is. The last few numbers are the specific sequence numbers, which helps narrow down the date of birth. The trim tag, on the driver side "A" pillar, will give the paint/interior codes, and a better build date. Check out this info under the "Research" button at the tops of the pages here, and then scroll down to "C3 Corvette Build Dates".
