I thought you might like to hear this: 2 years ago I went to Corvettes at Carlisle. There was an 82 Corvette there. It had a sign on the front. It said:
Purchased on 4/12/83
Stolen on 9/9/83
Recovered on 4/13/97
Recieved call on 10/6/97
Back Home 4/24/98
I thought it was amazing that it was gone that many years and still in one piece
