ahhh...but of course I have gotten pissed at it. but never once called it a pos. I would never I have been a Vette enthusiast for a while, and now I own one. How many kids my age in this generation can say they own 1 without it being daddy's? I have had the car almost 5 months and I have had some struggles, and drpped aroun 4K of a$$ busting USDs in her, but I think of whats going to happen when I'm done with this hhhott American Icon.. And I get excited, I would never call it a POS I've done just about everything already..... A Vette is the only car for me. Seriously after looking through all the Corvette association pictures, and people that own any generation Vette they are like 30+ years old. Seriously, how many 16-17 year olds do you see with a C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, or a C6? Absoulty none......

My wife has named almost every car we have ever had, until a few years ago. She no longer does this. I don't know why. Now my youngest names a few.
No one has named the Vette. Perhaps I need to wait until there is paint on the beast, and see what hits me. Right now, I am thinking of naming it Clarence. It's a good name from my family and my wife's family. And I think it kind of looks like a Clarence right now. Don't know why.

I think if I even mentioned any of the names I've called any of my vettes over the years, I'd get kicked off this site
Ken mentioned the "beast" I did have a mild custom '73 that the boys referred to a beast. That poor car took a thrashing and still came back for more!

My '74 is red, my last name is Adams, so it's "Adams' Apple" as has been all of my previous race cars. My wife's name is Kathy, so the '85 is the "Katmobile". Of course, both have been called some VERY derogitory names over the years, but it all comes back to ,"My Vette or your Vette?"!

Currently undergoing a frame-off resto. and modifications.YEEHAW!!!
After I'm finally finished restoring, and modifying my vette, the name, and the license plate will be.....
"DRTH V8R"
Or, for those of us who aren't good at deciphering license plates, it will be...
"Darth Vader"

It might be a tough plate to get cause I know both guys that have those plates in Illionis. One is on a Buick Grand national, and the other is on a black Trans Am. I dont know if pennsilvania has them taken.

But I still love her!
