Vette(s): 73 Conv, Blue-Green/White Top - 454, M21 - Dark Saddle Leather, Power Windows, A/C, Tilt/Tele, AM/FM St. (orig. and sounds like it too).#2 -- 2007 Coupe,3 LT package, Z51 option, Victory Red, Ebony Int. Clear Top.
Harley Earl was the head of GM design from 1927 to 1958 and inspired the two seat American sports car we know as the Corvette. He was a big fan of the Jaguar XK-120 . Note the basic design of the Jaguar: huge long hood, minimal two seat passenger area and a short rear deck.

And maybe someday I will find time to get my 120 (1953) back together. Now that I look at it.. there is a resemblance... not gonna be cheap to restore the 120.. Mama cringes everytime i go out to the back garage and mess with it... tells me to stay up front with the Vette... or else...

Yeah! That would be a fun (yet $$$$) project, if finances allow. Sadly, it's just not as easy to turn a restoration into profit as they make it out to be on TV.

it wouldn't be for profit or sale... it actually belonged to my wifes late husband and it will be a tribute to him Clap... he restored many Jags and this would have been his latest...
it is not easy putting together what somone elsssssssetook apart... I have done Jags but never a 120... parts are not easy to find, but much easier than 5 years ago... I have been working on it off-and on for 2 years... when not messinng with the Vette.. if you know what i mean..Confused 2 cruzn2009-08-31 19:50:06

Way to go bro. What can I say? That's all the motivation a man needs. You've got my respect . I have always said, no man should be expected to resurrect what another has has disassembled Confused.
