Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Anyone know where I can get a V-Belt Diagram for an 82 with AIR? It looks like I had four belts on it. May be even with belt size or numbers for all four of them. Also I'm missing the bottom bolt that holds the Air-conditioner bracket to the engine block any have an idea of what it was or should be. I would like to know a little of what I'm looking for before I got out and try to find it.

Do you have an shop manual for your car?? My 81 has four belts. I think that yours does also. Bolt for A/C bracket is 9/16 or 1/2, I believe. There is a web site that will give you the info you request. I will find it and post it here unless Joel answers first !!!

Thanks I found the belt drawing in the Corvette Assembly Manual. Good picture but does not give specifications. Yes mine has four belts. the lower bolt for the air conditioner bracket is missing. I hope it is not just broken off in the engine block. I was hoping to get a size so I do not have to feel my way around and try to get one to fit. I do not have a bolt jar so I would have to purchase anything I wanted to try. Does anyone have a conversion from GM part numbers in the assembly manual to what things really are?

The assembly manual will have the specs for every fastener on the car...you just have to look at the front of the manual to find it....what a pain!
I think the bolt will be a 7/16"...not sur about the length.

Well, to further add to the confusion, I was just in there recently and am fairly certain that they were 3/8" but I can't recall if they were 16 or 24 TPI. I thought I remebered a standard pitch of 16 threads per inch on all the bolts in that area
but I've been known to be wrong...frequently.
