Vette(s): My 1974 Vette sold last August 2014. I am still willing to show up to events and local gatherings if anything happening No new vette yet.
Hey everyone.

My vette is about 25 min away from me and it is late and I don't have the time or gas to go over to it so i have an unusual question for you all.

I am moving into a new house this monday and it has a garage with it.  I am wondering how long is my vette from front to back?  I am not sure if it will fit and would like to know.  I have a 1974 mind you so i dont have those metal bumpers.  I am just looking to find out the dimensions of the car. length and if you know it as well the width too.

Thanks,

Jeremy H.

thanks. if you round it up to 186 inches then divide by 12. it means the car is 15.5 feet long.  sounds good to me.

My garage is 20' long, and the '74 fits in there with aboot 1-1 1/2' room on either end.

Congrats on the house Jeremy. My car is 15'6".  I"m sure your safe on the width, they are not wide at all. So where's the new place? How's things with the twins? Are they here yet?
Good luck with everything.

[/QUOTE] Isn't this place great Clap As long as you know where to find the info.  I have about enough room to walk (sideways) between the and the back of my Vette in the garage.

Well the new place is one half of a two family house.  We are still renting as i cannot afford to buy a house for a while.  The twins are due November third however we are expecting she will be earlier than that somewhere around the fourth week or third week of october.
